Urgent hunt to find man responsible for two attacks in Wisbech

Both victims were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries

Police issued images of a man they want to question following two serious attacks in Wisbech. “Do you recognise this man?” said a plea by Policing Fenland. “We want to speak to him in connection with two serious assaults in Wisbech.”

Both assaults took place on Saturday (4 November). In the first, which happened in the early hours of the morning at just before 3am, a 38-year-old man was attacked in Market Square.

In the second incident, a 19-year-old man was attacked at just after 3.20am outside the Nene petrol station on Lynn Road.

Both victims were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and have now been discharged.
